What are the odds of getting hiv from having positive semen on your toungue? like the statistical risk factor?
cold - No one has really tested this possibility though the chances are close to zero PROVIDED that the person who has the positive semen in his/her mouth does not have any open sores which might allow the HIV to enter the recipient's blood stream. This could happen if small open wounds exist following vigorous flossing of teeth or advanced gum disease. Often the possibility can be reduced by use of a condom that fits properly and doesn't "leak." Always be careful. very rarely can transmit the virus to cause an HIV infection.
