What are the chances of my friend who dreams of travelling to America ? ?

my dearest friend in college is an iraqi citizen who wants to travel to America as a refugee he has worked for american forces as a ( vendor guy ) for a year and a half and has worked as a translator for a coupla months he was abducted and then released for an amount of money and his brother was killed by terrorist groups , his sister lives and is married in colorado and he is asking if these qualifications can help him to be accepted as a refugee in the USA but he doesn't know what to do and where to go and apply his case so i'm asking any of u who knows about these stuff to provide me with advice and thank u in advance
