What can I expect as an OSVET Rescore at Navy IT A School?

I'm a former active duty Army Sergeant and switched over to the Navy reserves through the Rescore program. So, I am a temporary IT2 and permanent SN. My IT2 becomes permanent upon completion of A School. I head out to IT A School in pensacola in a couple of months and am wondering what I can expect as a rescore IT2. Is the rescore thing common enough that there will be other Petty Officers? I also heard that the school is self-paced but have no clue what that means and have had trouble finding out how long I'll be away for the training. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!
