newborns make all sorts of funny noises, especially while breathing. They can even stop breathing for a few seconds. This is all completely normal. She probably still has fluids in her lungs that she's trying to expel. She'll sound gurgle-y, sneeze and cough a lot, and may even spit up large amounts of cloudy mucus. Keep a bulb syringe handy to help clear her airway, throat, and nostrils if she needs it. As long as she is eating well, having plenty wet/dirty diapers, is alert at some points during the day, she is probably fine.
